Dr. Abdullatif M. Ghaith

Dr. Ghaith career spans over thirty years in education and executive management.

He was the director general of SAMA’s Institute of Banking (IOB) for nine years; a period in which the IOB went through profound transformations in the character of its educational offerings and its relationship with the financial industry.

During that time, the IOB moved into the field of professional education and designations and aligned its offerings with the needs of the emerging capital markets and insurance industry.

Subsequently, He moved into the position of CEO of the franchisee of FedEx in Saudi Arabia; a position I held for over five years during which the company achieved substantial growth and dominance in its sector.

In 2010, He was appointed as CEO of Tatweer Education Holding Company (THC).

THC is a company owned by Public Investment Fund and tasked with the implementation of King Abdullah Project for the development of the educational system in Saudi Arabia.

When he took over this position, THC was a start up with no employees.

Dr. Ghaith assembled the necessary team and worked with its Board to Directors to develop its strategy and implementation plans.

By the time of leaving THC it had three major subsidiary companies focusing on education, student transportation and school buildings in addition to a project management division in the Holding company.

Currently he his focusing on the development Financial Leaders Training Institute which will focus on professional development of those working in the financial industry in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf.

Dr. Ghaith holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Arizona and taught for several years at King Saud University before moving to executive management.
